Is there preparation required for in-class courses?
For ACLS and PALS, these courses each have manuals to accompany them that you should study prior to taking the course. We also send you a link to a pre-course package that will help you with review the key algorithms. If this is your first time through ACLS and/or PALS, or if you don't use these skills often, we recommend spending enough time to feel familiar with the basic course content in advance.
That being said, you are not expected to come into the course already knowing all the material. Unlike ACLS courses you may have experienced in the past, this is a two-day learning experience. We're committed to creating an environment where you can feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions and really understand the rationale behind what you're doing.
